Terri Jo Clews (aka TJ Clews)

  TJ was born in Southern California and grew up in a family of five. She always enjoyed outdoor activities and sports, but enjoyed singing and playing her guitar just about anytime and anywhere. Singing was always a delight - whether solo or with others.
  As a pre-teen, she was blessed to be introduced to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by her parents, Sunday school teachers and camp counselors. She accepted Christ as her Savior at church camp at the age of 12, and walked with God as her guide until her late teens. After remembering a horrible childhood experience and feeling she was worthless, she allowed herself to live a lifestyle the world found acceptable, but lead her farther and farther away from her Lord. She raised her son as a single parent after her first marriage failed, always searching for that missing "piece" of her life. When she met her husband, Ken, she again desired to seek an intimate relationship with Jesus, which lead to a true confession and repentance of the life of sin she lead for so long. It also laid the groundwork for what the Lord is doing in her life today.
   Jesus began to mold her and she allowed Him to take control of more and more aspects of her life, including her singing. Little did she know, He would bless her with songs - words and music - that are a reflection of who He is in her life. In May 2007, TJ returned from Nashville, TN, having recorded her first CD of ten original songs (nine received from the Lord; one influenced by her father's wise words). The CD, titled Redeemed, is a culmination of TJ's dream to share these songs with anyone, anywhere, anytime and her life-long dream to be professionally recorded.
   At 52, TJ has seen many dreams come and go, but seeing this dream come true was truly a blessing to her by her Lord. He gave her the songs; He placed the contacts in her path, including the gentleman who produced her CD. "At my age," she says, "I'm not looking to become a star or make a million dollars. My prayer is that people would hear these songs and want to know this Jesus that I know and love…that hearts and lives would be changed." Belief in God and who He says He is, as well as who He says she is, have allowed her to give Him all the glory, thanking Him daily for all that He continues to do to present these songs to all who will listen.
